thanksgiving

I love the holiday, but I've been struggling to actually give thanks recently. I have so, so much to be thankful for. Namely, I have a good Author and Captain that gave His son that I might be restored to Him and enjoy His glory for eternity. I have lots of other things to be thankful for: a healthy family, a good job, a wonderful husband, dear friends, a good place to live... etc, etc. But you know what? I ought to consider all those things loss in comparison to enjoying the riches of Christ. Today this is true of my heart, but you may have to remind me tomorrow!
