dreams

I don't have super vivid dreams very often.  I mean, I certainly dream, but those dreams are rarely vivid enough to remember them 2 minutes later.  However, when I do have vivid dreams I tend to not think they are meaningless.  I mean, an angel told Joseph about the Virgin Mary's pregnancy with Jesus in a dream.  In some other cultures dreams tend to have a bigger role in spiritual life, often even leading people to Jesus.  BIG STUFF CAN HAPPEN IN DREAMS, Y'ALL.

I'm not saying I have prophetic dreams, and, "thus sayeth the Lord," or anything.  Generally, my safe interpretation of my dreams is that God places people in my dreams for me to pray for them... especially when people from my past appear in my dreams out of nowhere.  I figure this interpretation is harmless at worst, or incredibly helpful and productive at best.

Anyhow, I just thought I'd share.  It's happened 2 nights in a row, so I've been up praying for an old friend and a family I care about.  May God hear my plea for my friends.

  1. I rarely remember dreams, but have also had some recently where I felt that they were calls to seek the Father. Miss you, friend. Skype soon please!
