It's amazing how much can happen in a year. This day last year, we were sitting shell-shocked in our new home on the first day following an international move. We had one kid and one language. We were tired, hopeful, sick, scared, excited, and lost. We were on the brink of what would prove to be a pretty difficult yet exceedingly wonderful year.
Today we're a few days into another international move with 2 kids and 2 languages to boot. Our list of beloved friends has grown exponentially. We're still tired, hopeful, and sick again, but also peaceful and ready. What a difference a year can make. We are so remarkably blessed.
