ads and cinnamon rolls

As I was investigating recipes for homemade cinnamon rolls, I noticed the advertisements on the sidebar were for the following:

- 4 signs of a heart attack
- cavity prevention toothpaste
- other recipes for our inner fat kid... like english toffee and old-fashioned doughnut recipes
- several diet programs

My thoughts on this are twofold. First (though not foremost), customized advertising is slightly disconcerting and creepy. Second and more importantly, maybe these ads should deter me from making and consuming said cinnamon rolls... but I doubt that's going to happen.
