happy birthday...

... to Collin! It's a day late because we were busy celebrating yesterday, but I thought my favorite guy deserved a shout-out. Here's a short list of reasons why I'm crazy about him (8 reasons for him being 28- short, but sweet. I could say more, but I want to stick to my top 8.):

1. He leads me to Jesus, even when he doesn't think that he is.
2. He leads our home willingly, with humility and a desire to grow.
3. He's a smarty pants (see below).
4. He is trustworthy and kind, and I know I am safe with him.
5. He cracks me up.
6. He loves me in spite of and through my crazy (yea, it's a noun in my case).
7. He loves to cuddle, even more than I do.
8. He has a broken and contrite heart, which leads him to see and savor the grace of God all the more.


Also this weekend...

What's that you're wearing, Mr. Foster? Graduation regalia, with a Master or Arts hood? Why yes, it is.

Collin graduated Friday, and I am so very proud of him. Though we are rejoicing that he is finished with homework and night classes, we are sad that the opportunity we had to meet and love new friends from around the world is fading. Here's to the next chapter, my love!
