one year ago today

It was one year ago today that 2 things happened: I had meetings scheduled to turn in my resignation to ECI, and the morning before I went to those meetings Collin and I found out that I was pregnant.  Needless to say, I was an emotional wreck all day long.  Everything was so exciting and nerve racking all at the same time, and all the pregnancy hormones magnified all the parts of me that are already crazy enough.

From pregnancy, labor & delivery, to early parenthood one thing is certain: it's been a fun ride with this sweet thing. Through struggles and delights, I wouldn't change it for the world. I depend on and love God more because of my daughter. Lately more and more personality is coming out, and it's a joy to watch Addy grow and change. As much as everyone likes to talk about what about her came from which parent, my girl is definitely her own little person. I love that girl.
