Following a hug when Collin got home from work on Friday...
Collin: Why do you always try to wiggle away?
me: I don't always, but I don't think every hug needs to turn into a standing cuddle.
Collin: Why not?
me: Unlike you, my cuddle cup gets full. It runneth over.
Collin: Mine gets full, but it's like those tippy water buckets at water parks.
me: You mean the ones that dump out the water when they get full?
Collin: ...maybe.
me: So this is a losing battle.
Collin: No, it just means I might need my cuddle cup filled every 5 minutes.
me: **rolling eyes** Oh geez.
On a drive through Mackenzie State Park I voiced that I have never seen the Prairie Dog Town in my 9 years in the LBK, so we drove over there to have a look. I was disappointed.
me: So it's just a flat field with prairie dogs? Dirt, grass, and those squirrely guys?
Collin: Yea, what did you expect?
me: Prairie dog sized buildings, and those guys playing in them.
Collin: Are you serious?
me: **death stare** YES.
Collin: **can't talk because he's laughing so hard, nearly waking up the baby in the backseat**
me: Don't wake Addy up! What's so funny about that, anyhow? It says it's a town.
Collin: Cassie, they live underground.
me: Yea, but they hangout up here. See them? They could be playing in little buildings or something.
Collin: Seriously?
me: Obviously these were unrealistic expectations.
Collin: **continues with his uncontrolled laughter**
