life update in shout-outs

I'm going to give a few shout-outs that will also give you a picture of what we've been up to lately...

1. To my Mom: I hope you had a great birthday this year. I'm so proud and thankful to be able to say that you're my mama. I don't know what I'd do without you- lalaboo!
2. To my Magic Bullet: You make so many things in life easier: smoothies, black bean enchiladas, baby food, etc. You rock.
3. To Southwest Airlines: Thank you for getting me to Kansas City and back without any trouble. It made seeing my family even more delightful.
4. To Just Between Friends Lubbock: You have great deals and an easy way to sell some stuff. Lubbockites with kids- do your pocketbook a favor and head on over. 
5. To you, toothless 7-Eleven lady: All I wanted was a bottle of water to bring on a walk with my kid. Your comments about my baby being "under fed" (did you seen those thigh rolls?) and "she'll never be able to say her name" are not only unwanted, but just ridiculous. I am still trying to have grace for you in my heart, but my annoyance with your 5 MINUTE LONG check out for my one item while you lectured me on things I have a Master's degree in... geez. I desperately need the love of Jesus to consume me more than my own pride.
