Moroccan marinated barbecue for dinner! Let me just say that I have a great husband who worked very hard making this, and it was by far the best camping food I've ever had.
And s'mores... how could we not? The extendable marshmallow skewers Collin's mom gave us were awesome. Collin decided you should eat something not very American before you eat s'mores because it makes it 10 times better.
And then there was partying. We went to Abilene to celebrate one of the most unconditionally loving people ever: Betty Jane Hale, my Mommom, my dad's mom. I'm blessed to have had her as a picture of compassion and kindness in my life.
She turns 82 tomorrow, which calls for a cake with many sprinkles. I know you're jealous. We decided one candle for every decade was plenty...

HOORAY for Mommoms!! I freakin love old people! She's so cute, I just wanna hug her. Oh and way to go on the camping. Camping = best thing ever.
